Referrals for May have been released by the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs). These referrals ran from files logged in with the CCAA between June 7 and June 15, 2005 (9 days) (our file was logged in July 28, 2005). Last month referrals were given for files logged in between June 1 and June 6, 2005 (7 days) and the month before that it was May 27 to May 31, 2005 (5 days).
When we began this journey to adopt referrals were released for files logged in in a one month period (for example - files logged in between May 1, 2004 and May 31, 2004 received their referral all at once).
At the rate that we are seeing, and optimistically predicting that each month the log in period will increase by 2 days, we expect that we will get our referral at the end of September and travel the end of November or beginning of December. It will be a wonderful birthday and Christmas for me if this is the case.
