Today is Lian's 9 month birthday. This time next month we will be just arriving in Beijing and will finally see our baby on November 23rd. It's so surreal! We have decided to leave a couple of days earlier than our agency has proposed as direct flights from Toronto to Beijing only leave on certain days of the week. So, instead of leaving on November 22, we will leave on November 19. We arrive in Beijing on November 20 and fly to Lian's province (Guangdong) on November 23 and see her the same day. YEY!!!! We will stay in her province until December 2 and then fly back to Beijing until December 7, when we will bring her home to Canada. The flights dates within China are tentative and we don't yet know which hotels we will be staying at but we'll keep you posted.
Nik's brother, his wife and his cousin are so kind and have offered to stay at our house while we are away. Buster is relieved that he will continue to have the comforts of home and will not have to go to the kennels.
I just can't wait to get to Lian!!!
